This snug fitting goggle can be converted to attractive sunglasses for casual wear, by removing the retention strap and replacing it with the supplied temple pieces. Goggles and glasses for the same dollar spent! This is important to know as it gives the user more bang for his or her buck.

And these days who can’t use more bang for their buck?

By the way the goggle strap is adjustable and elasticized as well as narrow enough to make it comfortable when worn with ballistic helmets and radio headsets.

Oh, did I mention the goggles’ debris gasket can be removed to improve airflow when converted to sunglasses?

Fear of breaking the temple pieces or gasket should not enter your mind as the frame is state of the art TR-90 MEGOL nylon. (Note: users in winter or arctic conditions may wish to warm up the frames before popping things apart)

The BSG-1 is packaged, in its own soft carry case, with three sets of lenses: smoke, amber and clear. All three are Anti-Fog coated. The amber and smoke are 100% UVA & UVB resistant and the clear are 99% UVA & UVB resistant. All the lenses meet ANSI Z87.1, Z80.3 ballistic and MIL-STD 662 fragmentation standards. The lenses can also be used as patterns for RX lenses for those that need a vision adjustment!

Being ballistic tested these glasses are ideal for military and police use.
