The Pelican “Fore Grip Mount” is a tactical flashlight mount designed to mount a “picatinny/weaver” style rail onto the hand guard assembly of a standard AR15, M16, M4, C7, and C8 series rifle.

The kit includes:

• Rail with mount clamp and screws.
• Quick detach flashlight mount that will hold the Pelican M6 Tactical Lamps
• Tail cap with pressure sensitive on a 8”/225 mm pigtail.
• Black, heavy, rubber mounting band
• Self adhesive Velcro® for mounting
• Alcohol swaps for cleaning Velcro® mounting points.

While being designed to hold the Pelican M6 lamps, at Drop Zone we have found that the tail cap switch is compatible with similar sized products form Surefire. We have also found the mount will clamp any flashlight with a tube diameter of approximately 1” (25mm). Another observation made by the Drop Zone Tactical crew is that the lamp clamp itself will fit any “picatinny or weaver” style rail we have encountered, so if you weapon is rail equipped but missing a light mount you are good to go with the Pelican kit!
